Glossary & data labels
- KYC tiers
- Know your customer: identity checks. Retail KYC is basic onboarding; accredited/professional and qualified purchaser tiers add financial eligibility rules; institutions-only excludes individual retail investors. Requirements vary by jurisdiction.
- Admitted
- At least one investor tier from that region can apply. This does not mean every resident qualifies.
- Qualified purchaser (QP)
- A higher financial eligibility category than accredited investor. Check the issuer’s jurisdiction-specific requirements.
- Wrapper vs blended
- A wrapper is one issuer’s tokenized version of an asset. Its premium or discount is measured against CMC’s blended tokenized average, not the underlying stock-exchange price.
- Basis-trade
- A strategy seeking the price or funding difference between spot assets and derivatives. Returns can fall or reverse.
- Live / approx / snapshot
- Live means a provider reading captured within 48 hours, not a streaming quote. Approx means an estimate or target. Snapshot means a dated record, or a provider reading older than 48 hours or without a usable date. Sources refresh daily; none of these labels guarantees returns.
- Unavailable / not covered
- Unavailable means the value or feed could not be obtained. Not covered means a successful CMC category response reported no assets. A dash is never a zero yield.

Tokenized assets
The categories no DeFi TVL tracker models — tokenized stocks, commodities, ETFs — sized from the CoinMarketCap Real-World Assets API. Not hand-verified; market data only.

Wrapper premiums
What does this mean?Same underlying, several issuers: each tokenized wrapper's price against the blended tokenized average from CMC. A wide gap may reflect thin liquidity or a unit mismatch; it does not establish an arbitrage opportunity.

Issuers
Every RWA token issuer CoinMarketCap tracks, with the number of tokens each has issued. Issuers whose products carry hand-verified terms on this ledger are marked.
